Solar Eclipse is a painted response to witnessing the full eclipse of the sun in April of 2024. This experience went without words to aptly describe it: a transcendent pause in time, a mind melting astrological event, a somatic revolution. More than anything, this painting felt like it was delivered to me by the skies, but it also serves as a memorial to the things in our lives that enter and exit in a moment, but are forever imprinted in memory.
